Kevin is the managing partner of Kiernan-West and a member of its board of directors and underwriting committee. His career in real estate development spans over 30 years. He founded The Kiernan Companies in 1995 specializing in commercial build to suit services. Kevin has an extensive track record of developing industrial, office, and retail for many Fortune 500 tenants. His first build to suit for a logistics company occurred in 1996, a logistic call center located in Tucson Arizona. He has developed projects in Canada and throughout the United States, specializing in complicated and difficult entitlement projects.

Marc is CFO and a board member for Kiernan-West. Marc joined West Partners in 2010 and prior to joining West Partners he managed the Deloitte Tax’s Private Client Services practice in Orange County. Marc was also previously a Managing Director of myCFO. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Bar Association, and the California Society of CPAs. In addition, Marc sits on numerous charitable boards in both Orange County and San Diego County. Marc has a B.S. in Business Administration with an option in professional accountancy from California State University, Long Beach and a J.D. from Western State University College of Law.

Blake has joined The Kiernan Companies after 18yrs of institutional industrial real estate experience. During his tenure at Prologis and CenterPoint Properties, he held various roles including SVP of Development, VP Investment Officer and VP Development Manager. Blake’s wide range of development experience across multiple US markets, makes him uniquely capable of executing across acquisitions, entitlements, development and leasing of real estate assets. He has a B.S. in Construction from Arizona State University and is an active member of the SoCal NAIOP chapter.

Greyson joined Kiernan-West in 2019 and serves as Director of Entitlements focusing on project entitlement and pre-construction activities. Previously, Greyson worked for WESTliving where he managed entitlements, new construction and capital improvement projects across West’s seniors housing portfolio, which sold to MBK Senior Living in 2018. Greyson has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco with an emphasis in International Business.

Lindsay has been with the Kiernan Companies since 2018. She manages communications and initiatives for new business developments and charitable giving. She personally runs outside fundraisers for causes such as women’s health and theatrical endeavors for new artists, as well as serves as a manager for the New York non-profit Open Stage Project. In theater, Lindsay has worked in Non-Profit Special Events, commercial producing, and as a manager on two touring Broadway productions. She runs her own producing company, Coddiwomple Productions, which has been involved in Tony Award Winning shows. She has degrees in English and Creative Writing from Johns Hopkins University.

Greg is our Property Operations Manager. Prior to joining, Greg worked in project management for RORE, a San Diego-based general contractor performing utility and vertical construction of federal government entities’ facilities across the US. He previously managed construction and maintenance of facilities on behalf of Los Angeles County with Vanir, a California construction management consulting firm. He also has experience in LEED green building certification as well as environmental impact reports and assessments through his education in Environmental Studies at UC Santa Barbara.

Rachel Wandler is currently VP of Accounting for West Development, LLC, a position she has held for the last 9 years. Prior to joining West, Rachel had 15 years of accounting experience with a variety of industry knowledge including gaming, hospitality, construction, senior living and technology. She also has many years of acquisition and development experience in senior housing. Rachel began her career in corporate accounting at Toshiba. She then worked in the Private Wealth Group at Deloitte where she prepared tax returns for 7 years.

Rachel credits her parents for instilling a strong work ethic. She believes in leading by example and full transparency in her work product. She enjoys the challenge of identifying and solving problems and utilizing technology to streamline work efficiencies. Rachel is a California native, enjoys gardening, and being outside in her free time with her four dogs.

Sean is involved in the day to day making sure that everything is paid and tracked properly. He is the lead for the bookkeeping as well as in charge of contract reconciliation. Sean is also part of our payment approval process having the most up to date knowledge of cashflow and where we are on contracts. He is also involved with invoice tracking and keeping the bank up to date with spending regarding loans and equity contributions.

John Buza is the President of J.A. Buza Corp. and sits on the board of Kiernan-West. He is a General Contractor with over 45 years of experience in residential and commercial construction on both the East and West Coasts. He has worked with the West organizations for 30 years in a variety of building and development projects. He received his degree from SUNY at Canton, NY. www.jabuza.com

Pat provides 42 years of architectural experience after graduating from the University of Arkansas School of Architecture. Prior to retirement, his greatest achievement was his 29 years working for a Fortune 500 transportation company where he served as Corporate Architect, Sr. Manager, and Managing Director of Facility Design and Construction. Working closely with leadership he developed facility design and specification standards that still exist today and also helped to transform the public image of transportation facilities. During his tenure he was responsible for the design and construction of corporate office buildings, approximately 290 individual cross dock freight facilities, 75 shop maintenance facilities, fueling facilities, learning centers, and corporate aircraft hangers. Projects ranged throughout all 48 contiguous states, Canada, and Mexico.

Pat Brown Architect, PLLC is an architectural firm providing consulting services specializing in the design and construction of cross dock terminals and other project types. Those capacities include design services, writing of specifications, construction inspection services, and contract administration.

Gina is a partner at Mendelsohn Oseran & Spencer, PLC, in Tucson, Arizona. Gina attended the University of Southern California (BS in Business Administration), and the University of Utah College of Law (Order of the Coif). Gina has been practicing law for over 25 years, and is counsel to Kiernan-West. She handles all legal aspects of the projects. Gina is a board member of the Intermountain Centers for Human Development, and the Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute, a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and an AV rated attorney for the past 10 years.
